I thought the iPro Stadium had a real touch of quality about it, from the outside it looks very imposing, and the layout of the stands means both home and away fans can create a raucous atmosphere all game. I travelled with my dad and brother for this one, the ground is no more than 10 minutes from Derby station, but even so, on a horrid morning it's long enough to get soaked! Like a growing number of stadiums, there are various food outlets dotted around the ground should you feel hungry, but the food on offer inside the stadium was reasonably priced and very nice. The game itself was something of a write off for my Wolves, we lost 5-0, and we were lucky to get 0, as the old saying goes! We were comfortably beaten by what is a hugely impressive Derby side, a side who I feel will be playing Premier League football next season. Russell and Hendrick each scored twice, with defender Shotton started it all off by scoring from a free kick. The atmosphere amongst the Wolves fans was terrific however, with some gallows humour and defiant support, in spite of the insipid weather and performance.
