Worked 7-12, Boris Bike to Liverpool Street then 1pm train to Ipswich which only took an 1hr and 7mins, very pleasant 5 minute walk to ground Photos of the Bobby Robson and Alf Ramsey statues beforehand Sat in the front row of the Bobby Robson upper tier for the first half then moved around during the second to take some more pics Lovely ground, 2 old and 2 new stands, premier league standard really Train back straight after the game, sat well away from the Millwall fans and the BTP !
First trip to Ipswich with the Lions. Went with a few mates. Went to the pub right opposite the station. Didn't have much life in there until 1000 of our fans turned up. Had a couple of drinks and made a short walk across the bridge to the ground. We started the game well and should of been in front hitting the woodwork twice in 5 minutes. But ipswich took their opportunity towards the end of the first half and made it 2-0 shortly after the restart. We gave up after that and ended up losing 2-0. Good ground, their home fans love to sing when they're winning.
