Three goals down in 28 minutes this was arguably the worst performance of the season, Southampton had arrived with no wins in six games and it was earmarked for City to pick up at least a home point but we never performed from the off, with the exception of Frazier Campbell who never stopped harrying and running. The following day it was announced that Malky McKay had been relieved of his duties and we were in the market for a new manager.
