Sadly, not the greatest of days. It was a long journey by train and then multiple tubes (massive disruption due to engineering works and signal failures) and very cold (17:30 KO) only to be made worse by a lousy game. West Ham were pathetic (no fight and totally disorganised) while Cheslea did the absolute minimum to easily win. Most of the West Ham fans were gone with 15 minutes or more still to go. HOWEVER, this is an iconic ground and so glad we went before West Ham move to the Olympic stadium (2016 or 17). And it is really strange with high (relatively) modern stands on 3 sides and a little old fashioned stand on the forth. Weird. Funniest line overheard - Wot you fuckin' need is a woss'name. Long journey home - 25 minutes walk to Canning Town, 2 tubes to Paddington, train to Didcot and then drive back. Home at 01:00 Sunday morning. Knackered and a bit deflated all in all.
