Pagey and Steve arrived later than scheduled as per usual and I drove. Arrived at Rotherham in good time - Took just under 3 hrs. Went to a bar to watch Man Utd v Arsenal prior to the game and then onto the ground, which was actually quite impressive for a League Two side. Sat in the atmospheric stand and even though the ground was less than half full, they got a good atmosphere going. Pagey made a new friend, some random R'ham chap who even though looked like the R'ham Ultra's leader, was actually a good laugh. Game was really entertaining and R'ham looked like the side in a higher league, Stevenage did try to get back into the game after being 3-0 down but just couldn't get the equaliser. R'ham deserved to progress into the 2nd round draw though overall. Good banter on the way home, some of which I am not allowed to put on here, which helped pass the time and I was home by 19:30. Good day overall including a 1-0 win for M & M 's Barmy Army away at Brum... going to catch on Barnard you'll see!!

Went up with Steve and Hibs in Hibs car. Made good time and arrived in Rotherham just after 13.30. Having parked at a Liquid night club we went in for a beer only to find it empty and pretty dead. Later on we were to find out that beer was only 80p a pint! Having found a good pub with Sky Sports we watched Man Utd beat Arsenal 2-1. A quick KFC later and we made our way into the ground. I was a bit gutted to find myself next to a large chap but he turned out a top bloke and another doing the 92 fan. He kept me up to date with different scores and told us a few funny stories including not being allowed into Bradford due to wearing a Bin Laden mask and having a large Rotherham tatoo on his stomach in a Millers charity raising exercise. The game was really good and Rotherham played some superb stuff against a team from a higher league. They raced into a three nil lead before Stevenage pulled two back. A draw would have been harsh on Rotherham and they held out fairly comfortably. Made good time home and was an enjoyable day capped off with a good football match which isnt always the case at neutral games.

Went to this game with pagey and Hibbs. Hibbs drove us up to Rotherham and on our arrival we headed to the town centre for a beer. Pagey brought 3 beers for just over a fiver !! Cheap as chips !! Enjoyed the game and the stadium. The view was good from behind the goal and a good home win for Rotherham.
