wow my first game at Chesterfields home ground. I went to the game with my younger brother, Dad, Uncle Dads friend. Before the game i looked at our brick built into the stadiums wall and it says Oates Family Isle of Wight. It was a different sort of atmosphere and i could tell that seemingly everybody did not like Mansfield supporters. This is because of the miners strike back in the eighties. My dad tried to explain that i would not understand because it only affected people from mining towns such as Chesterfield and Mansfield are not liked in a lot of places because of it. It was again very very noisy with Chesterfield fans being extra loud. i understand the football term parking the bus as that is appparently what Mansfield did. It means everybody packs the defence and dont try to win other than on the breakaway which is what Mansfield did. Dad says that is what Mansfield did and fair play to them. Chesterfield again got lots of applause at the end of the game so they must have tried their best.

Ive learned a new football term. Parked the Bus. Brilliant atmosphere and despite losing I enjoyed the game which I went with my dad, brother and dads friend. It was my first home game and I saw the brick we have in the wall of the stadium
