The 27th October and it''s a visit to Bloomfield Rd to see Blackpool take on Brighton&Hove Albion. We caught the train from Aintree and arrived at Blackpool just in time to visit McDonalds on the Promenade where a McChicken meal each was our dinner for the day.We were a bit late today so a quick pace was needed to get to the ground in time to take our photographs and find our seats.I had made the journey to the stadium earlier on in the week and bought our match tickets.£40 in all (£25 & £15).I am glad I had done this.We entered the ground and took our places in the East Stand,8 rows up,in line with the halfway line. The view was slightly restricted by a post but it didn''t spoil our enjoyment. The weather was bright though a bit cold and the game started well in front of the 14,038 crowd, with Blackpool on top early on but unable to make a breakthrough.Blackpool started the 2nd half much the same but went a goal behind when Ashley Barnes scored for Brighton. The lead lasted barely 15 minutes when Elliot Grandin headed home the equaliser to end the game 1-1.On the 1st part of our journey home we got into conversation with 3 Blackpool season ticket holders.Meeting and talking football with supporters of other clubs was one of the reasons we wanted to embark on this adventure. We continued our journey without any problems and arrived home just after 7.30pm,where my 5 year old daughter Mollie was waiting for us with a tray of fairy cakes which she made for us with her mum.It finished off a great day and Luke was also great company.
