Boundary Park is pure Victoriana and brilliant. The Frizzell bar (and he''s got a big knob) is ancient and wonderfull under the stand with the ceiling being the actual sloping base of the stand above. Excellent Clayton pies (from Accrington). Went to the Greyhound pub in town before hand and got caught up with the Carlisle crew. An old boy (probably 40) was talking to Charlie at the table. We later saw him being escorted out of the ground by two policemen. Nice. Strange guy stood up and shouted you''re just a stand full of fannies several times at the Carlisle fans before realising he was the only one doing it. He turned to the rest of the stand, smiled, gave a little wave and sat down. Charlie sat next to the most miserable fan ever (I can''t wait for that generation of fans to die off) Watched the cup final (Liverpool v Chelsea 1-2) in the Old Grey Mare before driving home. Another great day out !!!!
