The game burst into life after the break as Chris Zebroski fired wide for the hosts from the edge of the box. Craig Stanley, who is yet to score for Rovers after signing from Morecambe in the summer, also went close. Crawley, whose best chance fell to Scott Neilson, lose top spot in League One and slip to third. Rovers drop a place to 18th, six points clear of the relegation zone. Crawley manager Steve Evans told BBC Sussex: I think it was a scrappy game from both teams and the pitch played a part in it. A point on the road isn''t what we look for when we go away from home. But there''s no mass unhappiness so we go back and do a job on Monday. Last week we played on the front foot with lots of energy and I don''t think we''ve done that today. It''s a difficult place to come to and if Paul Buckle had got that from those players for weeks then he wouldn''t be sat in his house.
