Bristol Rovers 1-1 Sheff Wed Bristol Rovers' draw with Sheffield Wednesday all but confirmed their relegation to League Two. The Pirates are three points behind Walsall with a vastly inferior goal difference to the Saddlers. Tommy Miller's early penalty, after Danny Coles brought down Gary Madine, gave the Owls the lead. Lewis Buxton fouled Wayne Brown in the area and Will Hoskins levelled from the spot but the hosts were unable to find a precious winner. It wasn't our best by any stretch. I think it looked exactly maybe some people would have expecte,d which was an end of season performance, with a team that couldn't go up and couldn't go down. We got a terrific start, you know I thought we were bossing the game until their penalty. I think we just had a few players today who didn't get to anywhere near the level they've been playing at in the last six weeks.
