While at the MK Dons game on Tuesday 18th January, I noticed that their next fixture away to Dagenham & Redbridge had tickets available for 99p and 25p (Yao). Over the next two days I just about managed to secure them because both D&R''s and Don''s allocation were selling rapidly. A mistake by one of the D&R booking clerks helped me to appeal and be allowed the two tickets AFTER they had officially sold out! A cold day, an awful shopping experience for Yao in Dagenham and a very dull game (1 attempt on goal for each side in 90 minutes football). Yao''s favourite today was the Frenchman Romain Vincelot and a decent player too. We missed the winning goal having elected to leave the ground at the 90th minute and the Dons scored in the 93rd! In the car on the way back listening to Radio 5, I got on the air giving my views about the lack of segregation which they adopted today and how the experience was for me being a part of it.
