Promotion gained for West Brom at the first time of asking. (11 months after being relegated from The Premiership) A lovely sunny day, packed out away end. Super free kick from Graham Dorrans to put Albion ahead then a second on the stroke of half time from Chris Brunt. James Chambers misplaced header back to his keeper providing the opportunity. Albeit Doncaster were slightly the better team in the first half but with no cutting edge. Early goal for Doncaster at start of half then 1-3 with a Roman Bednar strike from a Chris Brunt cross. It all looked plain sailing for Albion but a late goal from Donny saw the visitors hanging on to gain promotion with Newcastle United.
