Near perfect day ! Travelled down by train and ended up sitting next to the bloke who sits behind me in the North Bank. Despite our previous “differences”, we got on really well. That’ll change the dynamic at home games now ! Met up with Heather before the game & Elif afterwards before heading back and enjoying the company of two out of the three Walsall fans on the train ! The game itself was very tense. A third minute goal and then a great defensive display though Hahnemann only really had one good save to make. The rest was pretty routine. We also had a few chances and Sylvan was only inches wide with an 81st minute effort. I had great fun ringing everybody after the match while walking back to the tube with the Yids. To be fair they were very gracious about it. Also bumped into George on the tube too.

Took Cane to his first ever Tottenham game. He learnt about being a footy fan early doors as his side crashed to a solitary strike from Kevin doyle to give lowly Wolves the points. meanwhile elsewhere, Southend come from 2 down at home to Hartleppol to snatch a 3-2 victory.
