Ticket price £27.00 (285 miles - 4hrs 50 minutes. I drove up with Sean and we stayed the weekend with family at Barlow. The S of L is a very impressive stadium which afforded us easy access to the Sunderland players as they entered the stadium. A great seat/atmosphere/game with goals/sending offs etc and an enjoyable weekend overall).
Went with Eric and the rest of the SAFC supporters club southern branch on the train. Met Mark Metcalf who has written several SAFC history books.
