Neat ground but a long walk from the station. The bus service is not particularly good either. Despite the score Morecambe played the better football and scored two goals plus hit woodwork twice from good moves. They were guilty, however, of shambolic defending and all Burton''s goals resulted from poor defending.  Whilst in the town I paid a brief visit to Peel Croft, the Rugby ground, but previously the home of Burton Swifts/United. About half way to the new ground a new building on the right is labelled the ''Derby Turn'' building. This must be close to where Wanderers ground stood.
