Spent the weekend in London with Tim, Mon & Macca. Travelled up to Wembley from Central London and enjoyed some great banter with Gills fans who joined the tube at Euston. They didn't realise I was a Shrews fan (for the day) for a while until I purposely wiped my face with the Shrews scarf ! They seemed to only know old Chelsea songs from the 80's so I helped them out with a few renditions of you might as well go home and &-0 of coruse. On Wembley Way gatecrashed a couple of photos being taken of Gills fans with the Shropshire colours prominent ! Met up with neal and the lads from the Prince and had a few beers at the ground. The game itself was disappointing thoguh, porr first half, but picked up in the second and looked to be getting stronger and heading for extra time. I turned to Neal and said Why is it always your team that concedes a last minute corner. The clock said 89 mins and 45 seconds. Then we fail to defend and the smallest player on the pitch heads a goal. Cruel. And it wasn't even a corner ....
