CHAMPIONS ! And another pitch invasion ! Another great day, Si and myself drove up and we found a brilliant real ale pub in the Yorkshire Peaks about 10 miles from the ground. Wandered throguh the town which was crammed full of Wolves fans, over 5000 in the ground. A big game for both sides as the Tykes were battling to stay up. A Kyel Reid equaliser gets us the point we need for the title. Both sets of fans pour onto the pitch. All good natured (Aside from half a dozen idiots from both sides who briefly squared up and caused an voer reaction from the riot police. One Barnsley fan did run and jump on Mick's back and it looked as though Mick punched him, but the pictures later showed he hadn't. Wandered off eventually with big grins and clutching our new Champions t-shirts ! On the way back we heard that Blues ahd got beat. The miserable Monday night from a couple of weeks back seemed a long way away.
