The big Boxing Day crowd for this third division fixture was due to it being Simon Grayson's first game in charge of Leeds United. It was against his other old club as a player, Leicester City. It ended a diplomatic draw. (It would have been McAlister's old club, too!) Most Leeds fans at this time would say that they enjoyed the Grayson era at the club - once again, the best of times the worst of times...

Boxing Day game with Mick and Phil. Row C so great pitchside view but appalling overall view of game. Leicester took lead with sweet Matt Oakley finish from flowing move. Leeds were poor esp Jermaine Beckford. Halftime was horrendous as a 15 min queue for male toilets and 80p for a choc bar!! Leeds scored equaliser on 90 mins through Rob Snodgrass. Satisfactory result all round. Nightmare getting out of ground.
