On the previous day a young QPR player was killed and Burnley rightly called off their match at the Turf with QPR. The fixtures generally had Burnley and Morecambe at home on the same dates, so I seized the opportunity to see Morecambe. I thought the ground was pretty decent, and certainly much better than Barnet or Accrington. It came as a surprise that Morecambe are moving. Less of a surprise was that Mansfield fell out of the League.   This was Morecambe's first win and at first looked nervous. However, Mansfield's defence was pretty generous and Morecambe ran out comfortable winners.
