Match no. 1072. The first tie had ended in a 0-0 draw. Stevenage were able to briefly dream of glory when Joel Byrom put them ahead with a penalty in just the 4th minute but Jermain Defoe equalised on 26 minutes and second-half goals from Adebayor (pen - 55) and Defoe again (75) saw Spurs through. But it was a great effort by Borough over the two games.

score line- disappointing memories- amazing we didn't deserve to lose 3-1. in fact 2-2 after 90 minutes would of been fair in my opinion. sold out and then outsung the home support. (i was disappointed by their support as i had hoped they would of been better from what i'd been told.) it's a great feeling knowing that we were on tele doing us proud and showing everyone what lower league can do, as well as what we can do. on a slightly sadder note, after seeing muamba collapse in the next round between tottenham and bolton, it made me think what would of happened had we gone through, whether it would of happened at our ground and then, would we be as well prepared. But, great away day and enjoyed it thoroughly.
