Christmas 1997 my daughter and son-in law were over from Ireland. He is a Leeds fan and we decided to go early to Leeds to be sure of tickets. Having got these we drove off to Meadowhall then with a little persuasion went on Millmoor. What a cracking game. Lee Glover scored four including a brilliant volley and took Rotherham to 5-1 up. Hull were in difficulties at the time but two goals from Glyn Hodges and another took them to 5-4 and a hectic finish. Leeds v Aston Villa in the afternoon was predictably awful.
