Very good day out. Having booked train tickets for Notts Countys game at Walsall, I overlooked the fact that County could have been in FA cup action if they beat Donny Rovers in the 3rd round and they did. With the draw not being kind cost wise, I decided to use the train tickets and get to the Hawthorns, where tickets were cheap. Opting for the Norwich end, I was looking forward to the game and stuck a fiver on Norwich who were 3/1 to win, despite winning there 2 weeks earlier. Isn''t the most attractive of grounds, in fact, it really is quite a bore, nothing unique to it, nothing quirky, nothing smart, just a 4 sided stadium. Reasonable club shop though and the customary cheap, tacky souvenir was bought. The game itself didnt disappoint and it was a great day out, Norwich won with a late goal and the atmosphere and noise from the Norwich fans was amazing, couldnt help but get sucked into it and get right behind the yellows. Overall, I was up money wise for the day and had a blinding time, happy days.
