We drew Brighton in the 3rd round of the Carling Cup and being their first season at the Amex/Falmer Stadium it seemed like a great opportunity to take in a brand new stadium. Really neat ground, grand looking main stand. Quite far outside the town centre though and the train option takes you right outside the ground but being the only walkable option it was very busy before and after the game. The game itself was fairly even, Brighton probably just edging it, and unfortunatly nicked it in the first half of extra time, Craig Mackail-Smith putting away an easy header. The team selection from us will stand out as the everlasting memory, no recognised strikers on the pitch and a 4-5-1 against an attacking, division-below side.
