FA Cup match on a decent run.  For some reason we wore our green away kit. Huddersfield, then struggling in the old 1st division.   Us in the old 2nd division.   Stopped at pub on side of hill at Hoylandswaine after trying a dead pub in a Mining Village.  Another chain pub, but decent food & beer and nice view.  We parked up on a bit of waste ground that was being used as a car park near to the ground, after trying our luck a little closer at a bingo hall.   Huddersfield fans were actually collecting to save the club at the time.  "You know what it's like to experience difficulties boys."  obviously referring to 1982 and all that.   Interesting ground design wise.  Tucked underneath a hill with crescent shaped roofs to the stands.  We were in an end stand with good facilities.  The opposite end hadn't quite been finished, so the lower tier was actually a temporary stand.   Great game.  Won 2-0.  Beadle and Clist with the goals I think?   Bit slow getting out of the town.
