Bloody hell managed to get a ticket at last but how hard! Just shy of 60,000 to watch Arsenal kids in a competition most fans seem to have given up on. My mate tony had been to watch Wigan a couple of times which allowed him to apply for tickets i dont think any were on a general sale, he was successful in getting two but as it happened he ended up unable to go so i took my dad instead parking on the outskirts of London and getting the tube in. We were in the Wigan end but they hadn't sold there allocation and it ended up were some tickets were resold to Arsenal fans. We were quite low down so the view wasn't great for what looked like a nice stadium. One Wigan fan decided to pipe up singing 'if you've got a wigan postcode clap your hands' not aimed at us but if they didn't have the support to fill their allocation whos fault is that? Koumas made a cameo apperance but failed to impress and was subbed

Upper stand in the centre, great view and only £10. I was an Arsenal Red member at this time

Cheaper tickets due to it being a Carling Cup match.   Parked right on the Highbury Corner roundabout, due to [parking restrictions just finishing. Got to ground and queued, game already 10 mins in when we got there.   Nice seats - big old ground.   Arsenal won easily.

Arsenal's youth team strolled past Wigan with ease. The visitors had a few chances but never really looked like scoring (apart from one missed sitter which would have been a consolation). Arsenal never had to work particularly hard for their three goals and as soon as they scored their first the game looked over.   First time at the Emirates - it's undoubtedly a swish stadium but I wasn't a huge fan. The atmosphere is poor (although maybe I shouldn't be too harsh as it was a Carling Cup match) and in general its all a bit too sleek (meal deals? wine?). All the usual complaints about modern football grounds I guess.
