54 League games played at Alexandra Recreation Ground by Crewe Alexandra

The club was a founder member of the Football League Division 2 in 1892 and failed to gain re-election in 1896. Following the Liverpool match at the ground on March 28th, 1896 there was still one home game to be played to complete the season. This took place at The Vicarage at Sandbach and may have been played at a different venue either because the lease had expired or the Alexandra Recreation Ground had been required for another sport.

The club played on several other grounds prior to moving to the current Gresty Road and their election back into the Football League in 1921
