GROUND HISTORY adapted from "The Ultimate Directory of English & Scottish Football League Grounds"

Constructed on the site of the Brockhurst Sewage Farm, Walsall FC moved to Bescot Stadium from Fellows Park in 1990. When originally built the ground had a continuous propped roof covering seated stands on each side of the pitch and terracing at each end. In 1992 the south end was converted to a seated stand and in 2002 it was subsequently rebuilt with two tiers of seats and a cantilever roof.

In 2002 a 2,300 seat second tier was added to the stand at the north end giving an all seater capacity of 11,300 by the commencement of the 2007/8 season. The pitch size was 110 x 73 yards.
