GROUND HISTORY adapted from "The Ultimate Directory of English & Scottish Football League Grounds"
Having left Sealand Road in 1990 and taken up temporary residence at Macclesfield Town FC’s Moss Rose ground, Chester City finally moved in to Deva Stadium in 1992. The unusual feature of this location is that the ground straddles the England-Wales border with part of the main office block being in England whilst the remainder of the ground is in Wales. All of the stands have cantilevered roofs and the capacity at the start of the 2007/8 season was 6,012 with 3,284 seats. The record attendance of 5,987 was set at the Football Conference Match v. Scarborough (1-0) on April 17th, 2004 and the pitch size was 115 x 75 yards
