Match no. 1415. Stevenage wasted a great chance to salvage something from the game when they scored on 90 minutes to make it 1-2 and the 4th Official signalled 12 added minutes (the result of one lengthy injury stoppage and Salford''s endless time-wasting). But any momentum was immediately lost by conceding a soft third goal. This was my 208th game at Broadhall Way, bringing it level in second place on my list with Spurs'' old ground at White Hart Lane. And this was my first game on 25th March for 45 years - Match no. 423 - West Ham 3-1 Chelsea - 25.3.1978.
