Having gone all the way up for the original fixture on February 12th and then be told less than an hour before kick off it was postponed, I managed to get lucky with logistics and transport to make it to the re-arranged fixture. Absolutely chuffed I could because it was the best Premier League away day I've had to date. The stadium was a lot more grand from the outside than I thought it was going to be, with San Siro-esque spiralling colums and wave-shaped roofs for the stands. Trying to create a complete sporting complex, the outside of the ground was being worked on and the stadium planned to be expanded, will be interesting to see how it turns out in a few years time. Expecting a hammering the game itself was a surprise, despite going behind very early we made it a contest and got the lead, unfortunately couldnt hang on for all three points. Both goals were well created and taken, especially the second, and to have it all happen toward the away end was fantastic.
