Comments :
Travelling back from visit south. I went to footy while Suey went to Stowe House and Gardens (NT). Had an excellent light lunch together at M on the Square in Brackley before going our separate ways. For me a 6 minutes walk to the stadium where I arrived soon after 13:00 to sit with a pint of Abbot in their fabulous modern lounge and watch the early game on TV. The whole ground is small but neat and tidy and everybody was friendly and welcoming. The whole experience was great from start to finish. Even the crowd around me were pleasant, committed, knowledgeable and sensibly supporting (given their team were getting a stuffing). Having not won yet this season and with a man sent off within 6 minutes they always looked likely to struggle even against the league's bottom team. But, in the end it was Farsley's keeper who made the difference making 4 or 5 excellent save including a penalty. Walked back into Brackley to meet Suey and drive home. It felt like a long way but it's always easier after a very very good day.
