Towards the back end of the season and I wasnt working weekends at the time so it was a great opportunity to go. It is without question one of the most melancholic grounds I've been to, the location being right next to the River Thames, the local area made up of first-class housing. Between restricted access and lack of time I couldnt get to the Michael Jackson statue, which was a bit frustrating. The away end is actually a mix of home and away fans which was initially awkward but everyone got on well, wouldnt want it like that if it was a derby or game of higher league significance. In the end it was a fairly tight game, all three goals scored really well taken, good entertaining fixture and despite the loss a good away day.
