Drove solo across country for this game. The attendance on the day was a new ground record. Boston started the day in the play offs knowing a win would secure their spot whilst Gloucester had nothing to play for. The hosts took a first half lead at the open end when a cross from the left was knocked home. Both sides created half chances throughout but lacked the final quality required. As time ebbed away Boston looked to hold play up in the corner flag and as the 4 added minute board went up the cocky home supporters tempted fate by singing 1 nil on your big day out so inevitably two minutes later a cross from almost the same spot as the first goal was poked home for the equaliser. At the end fans where invited onto the pitch as the players came out for their end of season awards knowing the dropped points put them just outside the play offs with one game to go. A proper programme and match ticket capped the day off well followed by a visit to the adjacent burger king before heading home.
