Decided not to go to Yeovil. Took the train for this short journey, i''d been here with Tranmere pre season around 3 times but think this was my first watching a first team fixture sitting behind the goal, bumped in to three regulars from prenton park. Salford created more chances and scored close to half time. Danny Whitehead first with a hard drive from the edge of the box before Danny Mitchley equalised early in the second just beating the keeper to the ball and finishing with a cute lob but parity was only restored for about 9minutes before Gaffney headed home the winner. Took the opportunity to meet an old friend in Liverpool for food at Bem Brazil and a few drinks
