Went to this game on Easter Monday with Lee as it gave me a break from my painting and a chance to catch up with Bomber while watching Michael Steward play for Needham. It was a lovely day and a good crowd inside the small but neat ground. Needham started ok but then let in two in two minutes and Sudbury were really just trying to see the game out for the second half. I left with 5 minutes of normal time left and missed two Needham goals! Thats how it finished which meant that Sudbury now cant qualify for the play offs. All in all a good afternoon out for just £7 and a 30 minute drive.

Went on this hot Easter Monday. Met Rob there who arrived promptly at kick off at 3pm! Tidy little ground and a very good attendance. Game was ok, Sudbury pretty much bossed the entire game. However Rob left with about 5 inutes to go and this coincided with Needham picking up. They soon gained a penalty which was put away and almost from kick off they broke again and scored an equaliser. The draw meant that Sudburys chances of making the playoffs went. Notable from the match was a Sudbury fan who kept sounding an old style turnable airhorn every time Sudbury were on the attack, sounded like an air raid warning signal. Enjoyed the afternoon.
