| Constructed on the site of Hull City FCs former grounds at Anlaby Road and The Circle, the 25,504 all seat capacity stadium is nominally oval in shape and consists of a single tier of 20,000 seats with an upper tier on the west side. The venue, used by both Hull City FC and Hull RLFC, has a continuous cantilever roof around three sides and a cantilever roof on the west side. It was originally known as The Kingston upon Hull Community Super Stadium and officially opened on December 18th, 2002 with a friendly match v. Sunderland (22,467). The pitch size was 114 x 74 yards. |
