It was a cold wet November's day for my visit to The Amex Stadium, how'ever now living along the coast in Littlehampton it was a short trip for me. I know Brighton very well so knew where to go for a pre-match pint, before taking advantage of being able to use any public transport route to the ground by showing your match ticket, getting a bus up to Falmer. My first impressions of the ground was very good, and I have to say the Brighton fans made alot of noise, much more then the Birmingham fans, mind you we did'nt have alot to sing about despite only losing 2-1 we were never really in the game. After the game I was very dissapointed with the stewards who had no idea where you have to go to catch the bus back to Brighton, by now it was dark and wet so I made my way to Falmer station and joined the large ques for the train. There was a good mix of both Brighton and Birmingham supporters and I saw no sign of trouble, how'ever for me getting back to Brighton meant I could go an have a few drinks but if I still lived in the West Midlands it would'nt give away supporters much time, as many would have to cross London before getting trains back home, so taking into account it was after 6 o'clock before many fans where arriving back into Brighton it's not ideal.
