Went with Dad from Chester. Dad brought the rest of my stuff up for uni in the morning and arrived at Chester at about 10:15. Left about 11:30 ish and drove down to Shrewsbury getting to the retail park next to the ground at about 12:45. Had lunch in Pizza Hut and then walked about 15 mins to the ground even though they are literally next door to each other. Collected the tickets and then sat in seats about 30 mins before KO. Not the best of grounds and a bit boring as its just the 4 stands of the same size without any infills. The game itself was an average game with neither side having any clear cut chances. Shrewsbury took the lead after a scrap from a corner which I struggled to see as I was at the other end of the ground. Apart from about 20 mins in the second half where the game opened up it was a poor game. Shrewsbury got their 2nd about 10 mins before the end of the game through Carlton Morris and kept them at the top of the league. Shrewsbury did deserve the win the game but Scunthorpe did have chances to level it up when it was 1-0. Got a lift back to the station from Dad and got the train back to Chester changing at Crewe as I just missed the direct train back. Got back into my room at about 19:15.
